30 Portraits in 30 Days began as a FaceBook Group. The objective was to create a new portrait of any type each day for a month and post it to the group page. I decided to photograph regular people—a few friends, but mostly strangers I met on the street—and create classic 8x10 black and white portraits. For each image shown I usually shot 4-8 images in less than 5 minutes. This series was exhibited at Flour in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, August 2012 and Easton Mountain Retreat Center in 2013.
